Casa Co is located in Guadalajara, Mexico. It is a residential project jointly created by the architectural firm JDEstudio and the interior design studio Aagnes. Both emphasize the spirit of craftsmanship, sensitivity to materials, and concern for a contemplative life in their design concepts, thereby creating a residence that engages in dialogue among light, objects, and time.

The architectural part of JDEstudio takes natural materials as its core, emphasizing precision and restraint. The light beige travertine, marble and wood run through the entire house, forming a unified material vocabulary, which shows layers and order in the changes of different lighting. The building facade is treated with burnt fir (shou sugi ban), contrasting with the vegetation in the garden and the shadows cast by the sunlight, revealing the traces of time.
