Montmartre Apartment Retro Meets Modern in a Parisian Color Symphony
The Montmartre Apartment residence is located in the Montmartre Hill of Paris and was designed by Studio Collected. It is a perfect example of the harmonious integration of modern living aesthetics and retro elements. Through meticulous spatial layout and rich material application, the project demonstrates the designer's profound understanding of spatial order, light and shadow changes, and color coordination. At the same time, it incorporates various artistic elements to create a living environment that is both comfortable and visually appealing for the residents.

In the living room, a purple sofa becomes the visual focal point, complementing two yellow vintage chairs, creating a warm and fashionable atmosphere. The wooden round coffee table and auxiliary small tables infuse the space with a natural touch, while the wall bookshelf and fireplace design not only serve practical purposes but also serve as decorative highlights. The mirror and pendant lamp above the fireplace are ingeniously arranged, giving the space a refined and luxurious feel beyond its modern appeal.

The dining area is centered around a round wooden table. Red velvet chairs and unique chandeliers jointly create a warm and elegant dining experience. The sculptures in the corner add depth to the space and also highlight the integration of art and life. The bedroom follows the overall color logic, with a purple bed that echoes the living room. The wooden bedside table and the wall-mounted bookshelf serve both storage and art display functions, and the unique-shaped bedside floor lamp enhances the warmth of the space.

The kitchen maintains a modern and minimalist style. The white cabinets and glass doors emphasize functionality and transparency. The circular glass dining table and wooden chairs facilitate casual dining. Meanwhile, the wall artworks and decorative details on the tabletop reflect the designer's attention to the aesthetics of life. The bathroom features a stark contrast of blue walls and red curtains, complemented by a marble sink and metal faucet. The use of colors and materials highlights vitality and texture.

The children's room is designed with a focus on childlike charm and warmth. The round woven bed and elephant toys create a comfortable resting area, while the wooden desk and chairs meet the needs of study. The wall decorations and small ornaments add to the space. Apartment Montmartre achieves a perfect balance between modern design and retro aesthetics through meticulous attention to every detail, demonstrating Studio Collected's unique understanding of space, color, and the sense of life rituals.

Studio Collected’s Montmartre tour de force proves that fearless colour-block swagger and retro-modern soul can coexist—and Domvitus now offers an instant accomplice: the Gubbio cotton Vintage Floral Embroidered Pillow Cover, whose sun-faded sunflower motifs are printed in the same mellow register as the apartment’s violet sofa and scarlet dining chairs, then lightly stitched for texture. Slide it onto the banquette or the round woven bed and you import just the right dose of Provençal nostalgia to calm the palette while keeping every hue singing in tune.
